On Septemeber 10th, Alan received the Civic Spirit Award from the PINCH Foundation.
PINCH (People In Neighborhoods Can Help) Founder Frank Sullivan presented this and several other awards at a celebration that
was hosted at the Elks Lodge in West Roxbury. Attendees included community members, local business owners, and local
political figures as well (Boston Mayor Thomas Menino stopped to congratulate award recipients). This award was presented
to Alan for the manner in which he enthusiastically and generously supports neighborhood causes with civic minded spirit.
