John DeMotte joined the Gardens at Gethsemane in March of 2005.  Born and raised in the Boston area, he came aboard with a strong background in customer service and technology.  This combination has allowed him to assist the President and the cemetery as a whole continue to grow and mature through the ongoing “technological” boom of the last decade.

     A graduate of West Roxbury High School, he spent many years working in the West Roxbury area as a Supervisor for CVS/Pharmacy, and as a laborer for the Boston Public Works Department.  These experiences truly assist John in knowing the demographics of the area as well as many families in the community.

     John is an active member of the Massachusetts Cemetery Association, The New England Cemetery Association, and the ICCFA.  He regularly attends seminars and conferences to ensure his knowledge on our industry is always accurate and current.
