Brook Farm Tour 2009

On Sunday May 3rd, The Gardens at Gethsemane hosted lunch for everyone who attended the tour which was guided by Bob Murphy of the West Roxbury Historical Society. The afternoon rain just managed to hold off for all who attended to enjoy the walking tour and the BBQ lunch thereafter. Thanks to all who joined us and hope to see you again soon!!      Thank you so much for the wonderful spread you served up on Sunday to make Bob’s tour and West Roxbury Reads  such a success. People were RAVING aobut the food, the tents, and your community spirit!! I am sure it was an afternoon none will forget, and I hope the Transcript does a good job in the article covering it. I have worked with that reporter once before and she is good and thorough, so I am very hopeful that what she produces will make you two and Bob look as good as you are.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Dear Alan & Staff,

I would like to thank you for a lovely and very generous lunch last Sunday.  My friend and I so enjoyed the Brook Farm walk and history.

I feel very privileged to have chosen Gethsemane as a final resting place for my dear husband.

Alan you make everyone feel like "family"

Sincerely,

Yvonne Hanley
